Sakura Production Co., Ltd.
(Description)
I was responsible for the overall renewal (project planning, design, and implementation) of the corporate website for Sakura Production, the agency that manages and operates the intellectual property (IP) of Chibi Maruko-chan and other iconic works.

In refreshing the Sakura Production corporate website, the core requirement was to fuse the "inheritance" of the Sakura world with the "evolution" of the studio as a corporate entity. Regarding "inheritance," we used modern digital technology to reinterpret the warmth and humor left behind by Momoko Sakura. We achieved an immersive design—from animations that pull you into the world of her books the moment the site opens, to a navigational flow that feels like opening a secret door. As you explore deeper, the site reveals the "evolution" of the new corporate structure through meticulous information architecture. Alongside iconic works like Chibi Maruko-chan and Coji-Coji, we showcase her insightful essays and her expanding global reach. By pairing these with her uniquely diverse artistic expressions, we highlight the anticipation for the studio’s next chapter. Our goal was to create a site experience that allows visitors to intuitively discover the wonderful world of Momoko Sakura with greater depth than ever before.
